Geometric Organicity

Displays of precision and order in naturally occuring forms, such as ivy and sand, have always made me extremely uncomfortable.  Geometric Organicity was born from a combination of my studies of naturally occuring forms in my Spatial Interactions & Image Reconstruction works and my time at the Slade considering the interaction between the creator and the space he/she inhabits.

Geometric Organicity has since become an area of increasing interest/obsession to me.  It takes a regimented, systematic approach to looking at the interactions between an observer and their space, adds in the progression of time and then this data becomes my stimuli on which to act and respond, producing a vast array of geometric forms that mirror the past and map the possible futures/paths onto the present state of the object, in a dynamic portrayal of entropy.
